Artificial flowers

Sunflowers – I helped 'sifu' to fill-in with fillers and leaves

Sunflowers – garden concept
This one was totally done by myself :). Started with cutting and filling sponges into the vase. Then put a layer of glue so that can cover the sponges with artificial moss and grasses. This step was fun because the moss and grasses are so soft to touch and play with – pressing them so they will stick onto the sponges. The not so fun part was cutting the stems of sunflowers as they were very thick! My hands were red and hurting and I was quite struggling for strength, haha. Seems like arranging fresh flowers is easier! No wonder artificial flowers can be sold quite expensive due to the amount of work and sweat involved.

Garden concept – four sides of the vase is filled with different types of flowers and greens

Elaine's ROM bouquet

10.10.10 – that's the date, Elaine & Likson's ROM. I'm proud that I'm given the opportunity to make a ROM bouquet. This will be my gift for you Elaine dear. Wishing you both an eternal happiness, joy and love!

Elaine's choice of flowers: pink lilies and red roses. They are matched with baby breath, eustomas and tea leaves

The following photos are courtesy of Elaine. Thanks Elaine for allowing me to put them in my blog
Still standing fresh after few days, all four lilies are blooming even eustoma is blooming as well

Elaine's house-warming gift

I decided to personally arrange a vase of flowers for Elaine's house warming gift. I wanted the flowers to last forever, thus I'm choosing artificial flowers. I haven't gone through arranging artificial flower class yet, so I keep this simple. These artificial flowers really look real I can say – bought them from SSF (all the artificial flowers there really look real, but pricey!)

I've chose peach gerberas and mixed them with red ones – to bring out the contrast and I believe these colors can bring warmth into a home – and also to our friendship :). I keep the size small and cute (just like Elaine, hehe) so that Elaine can put anywhere she wants, be it on dining table, tv console, dressing table, etc. I hope you love this Elaine!

Freestyle arrangements

This vase arrangement is meant to be displayed at church. It's really freestyle and 'sifu' asked me to arrange however I want with the given ingredients – testing my creativity :)

Hand bouquet – Gratitude

These hand bouquets are done for a wedding ceremony where the couple will be handing these as to show appreciation/gratitude to their parents
